Haley Forbes, 18, residing in North Attleboro, is currently one of Elite Sport’s strongest and most dedicated female athletes. Haley is one of many of our athletes who started in the physical therapy clinic before stepping foot onto the turf. After suffering multiple ankle sprains throughout her seasons on the soccer field, Haley underwent major ankle surgery in October 2015. She started extensive rehab in early winter with one of Elite’s Physical Therapists, Eric Farley, PT, MPT, into late spring.
After months of physical therapy, Haley was cleared to return to the sport she loves and has been playing since the age of five. She continues to challenge herself and take on new tasks every time she steps her now healthy feet into Elite – anything from heavy single leg kettle bell dead lifts to explosive arms! She continues to work hard and believes there is always room for improvement. Elite’s trainers can’t seem to find anything she can’t handle! The entire Elite staff has noticed significant progress in her strength, balance, power and confidence.
Outside of her achievements at Elite, Haley has had great success with her club soccer teams. As captain, she led multiple teams to league championships at both the U16 & U17 levels. Haley has set her goals high and will be attending IMG Academy in Florida this spring to continue to play soccer.
Her commitment, desire to succeed, creativity, work ethic and motivation as a team player are some of the many traits we’ve recognized in Haley Forbes. We are excited to announce her as Elite’s Athlete of the Month for October. We look forward to the opportunity to continue to train with you and cheer you on from afar when your spring semester begins! Congratulations Haley, Elite’s Newest Athlete of the Month for October 2016!
