Individual Sports Training

Elite’s Individual Athlete Training program, our most personalized training option, is the perfect program for athletes seeking one-on-one training and customized sport-specific program design. Your program begins with an introductory, complimentary movement evaluation and training session with one of our personal trainers. We devote this initial session to performing a thorough assessment and evaluation of each client to ensure that we identify and address the specific needs and goals of each client.

The initial session includes the Functional Movement Screen (FMS), which is designed to screen for any deficits or asymmetries in movement patterns, strength, stability, and mobility. The evaluation may also includes other fitness and performance tests, which may vary depending on the athlete's fitness level and specific training goals.

Based on the results of the assessment and the goals of each athlete, we then develop a customized training program. Each training session is performed under the direct supervision of your Elite trainer, allowing for the ultimate in personalized coaching, instruction and guidance to ensure proper form and technique with all exercises.

Expert Instruction and Coaching

Elite’s team of trainers hold either a Bachelor’s degree in the field (i.e. Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology) or a nationally-accredited certification in personal training or strength and conditioning, and many of them hold both. Many of them have years, even decades, of experience training athletes of all ages from Little League to the Major Leagues. Rest assured you will receive expert guidance, coaching, and motivation from an experienced and educated trainer. Our training staff prides themselves on staying on the cutting edge of the field.

Safety & Reduced Injury Risk

No one should hurt themselves while trying to better themselves and improve their fitness and performance. Your trainer will ensure that you perform exercises with proper form, appropriate resistance, optimal posture, correct breathing patterns, and spotting assistance as necessary. Proper training and conditioning can also help reduce the risk of certain types of injuries.


Results

We take great pride in our athletes and the results they achieve while training with Elite. We perform baseline testing at the beginning of every program as well as periodic re-testing sessions so we can demonstrate to each client the progress they have made and the goals they have achieved. The vast majority of our athletes see outstanding gains in their overall fitness and performance.
