Semi-Private Sports Training

Elite’s Athlete Semi-Private Training Program begins with an introductory, athlete evaluation and training session. This session is an hour long appointment with one of our nationally-certified strength & conditioning specialists or personal trainers. We devote this initial session to performing a thorough assessment and evaluation of each athlete to ensure that we identify and address the specific needs and goals of each athlete.

This initial session includes the Functional Movement Screen (FMS), which is designed to screen for any deficits or asymmetries in the athlete’s movement patterns, strength, stability, and mobility. The evaluation also includes other important performance tests, which may vary depending on the athlete’s sport and specific training goals.

Based on the results of the assessment and the goals of each athlete, we then develop an individualized, sport-specific training program for each athlete. Each training session is performed under the direct supervision of Elite staff in semi-private training sessions (up to 4 athletes per trainer). This small group setting allows us to ensure that each athlete demonstrates proper form and technique with all exercises while also developing camaraderie among our athletes.

Our comprehensive training program emphasizes all elements of athletic performance, including strength, explosive power, speed, agility, balance, conditioning and flexibility, while also addressing any specific needs of the individual athlete.

Expert Instruction and Coaching

Elite’s team of trainers hold either a Bachelor’s degree in the field (i.e. Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology) or a nationally-accredited certification in personal training or strength and conditioning, and many of them hold both. Many of them have years, even decades, of experience training clients from Little League to the Major Leagues. Rest assured every client will be receiving expert guidance, coaching, and motivation from an experienced and educated training team who pride themselves on staying on the cutting edge of the field.

Quality Program Design

Most of Elite’s sport-specific training programs are designed by Master Trainer, co-owner of Elite, and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Peter Rappoli, MS, CCS, CSCS. The importance of quality, proven program design cannot be overstated, and we ensure that all of our athletes are provided with a comprehensive training program that will help them maximize their potential and reach their goals.


No one should hurt themselves while trying to better themselves and improve their fitness and performance. Elite’s trainers will ensure that clients perform exercises with proper form, appropriate resistance, optimal posture, correct breathing patterns, and spotting assistance as necessary.


We take great pride in our athletes and clients and the results they achieve while training with Elite. We perform baseline testing at the beginning of every program and do periodic re-testing sessions so we can demonstrate to each athlete the progress they are making. The vast majority of our athletes see outstanding gains in their performance testing, and more importantly, their performance in their sport.
