If you want a dedicated trainer and you want results, then look no further!
Ron first came to Elite last summer through our Physical Therapy center after having a procedure done on his knee. While going through his rehabilitation, Ron had faced the fact that his weight was spiraling out of control. Ron had to rest after walking several steps. The swelling in his foot was so bad that his ankle was “spilling” out of his shoe. Taking a leap of faith, Ron decided to invest in personal training and worked with Jay, twice a week. Through hard work and determination, Ron began to see changes in his body as well as his lifestyle. Ron went from barely being able to walk across the gym, to currently running several laps on the track and walking two to three miles several times a week! Ron continues to keep an open mind and takes on new challenges head-on. In his own words, “By virtue of Jay’s guidance and professionalism, I have changed my lifestyle for the better, lost over 100 pounds to date, and developed a better understanding of what it means to live healthily.”
Chuck Hannaford is a fantastic example of someone who takes advantage of the many programs we offer here at Elite. He has participated in and WON our Weight Loss Challenge (our next one starts January 14, 2017)!!! He also takes our Team Training classes and participates in Small Group Training. Chuck has not only lost a significant amount of weight but has gained an enormous amount of strength and endurance. You can now find Chuck regularly taking our CrossFit classes as well.
Now check out this couple! They have been working out with one of our trainers, Matt for several months and just look at their body transformations. Steve Hollis works with Matt 4 times a week, has participated in our WLC, and he is a member of our Club Cycle. His wife Patty Doucette works out regularly training with Matt at least 3 times a week. Steve has lost 70 lbs and Patty has lost a whopping 124 lbs!
Testimonials
1.“I have been working with Rachel for two months and I have already seen amazing results. I must share that I have been working out for decades on my own, and I present some physical challenges that most trainers would likely avoid. Having said that, I have never felt stronger or healthier. Rachel is passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm she brings to every session. Her friendly and easy-going personality creates a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. She makes each workout challenging, creative and fun. She has used “outside the box” thinking to allow me to perform exercises I previously thought impossible because of the challenges I mentioned earlier. She motivates me to push past my perceived limits to get results beyond my expectations. Since I started training I have more energy, better balance and flexibility and I have gained muscle mass and strength. If you are serious about changing your life for the better, Rachel is the personal trainer for you! Thanks, Rachel!”

2. “I started training with Brian back in 2011; coming from a zero athletic background, I was a little hesitant to start. Brian worked with me 100% to teach me the basics of nutrition and fitness. With his help, I have learned how to move properly and fuel my body for the results I was looking for. Overall, I have lost 20 pounds and 8% body fat, I can now squat and deadlift just about double my body weight, and I continue to strive and achieve new goals and personal bests. With Brian’s help and support, I started competing locally in Olympic Weightlifting, where I continue to find success and build a passion for a Sport I love and enjoy. Over the past five years, I have become more confident, happier, healthier, and stronger. Hands down, Brian is the most knowledgeable, passionate, and supportive Coach and Trainer that I have ever worked with, I would recommend his services to anyone!”

3. “In my mind Elite Health and Fitness with its equipment, classes, educated trainers and staff, along with the amazing new facility opening this spring, has set the “platinum standard” for what a health and fitness club should be.
Though I was overweight and out of shape, I had no intention of joining a gym. I brought my teenage daughter to Elite to find a Personal Trainer to get her ready for college sports. The trainer convinced me I could train as well, and he would tailor the routine for me. Well, kudos to Larry for consistently getting the best out of our hour together, even on my worst days. Since joining Elite I have gone done 3 clothes sizes and reduced my cholesterol by 30 points. My criteria for success is to “just get there” because once you step inside the energy and motivation are palpable and contagious. I have achieved milestones that exceeded my expectations. I have been able to improve my strength, flexibility, endurance, and overall health.
On the days I am not training I use the treadmill, elliptical or any one of the new states of the art pieces of equipment that continually appear on the floor. I have also taken some of the myriad of classes offered, for a high caliber workout there a Circuit Training, Spinning or Body Pump, and for an invigorating but toned down workout there is Pilates. I have yet to commit to Elite’s infamous “Boot Camp” but it is on my radar.
The staff and trainers at Elite are easily approachable, extremely knowledgeable, and very thorough whether answering a question, demonstrating correct form, or giving instructions of using a particular piece of equipment.
By definition; Elite – noun- the choice or best of anything considered collectively, as of a group or class of persons, yeah I’d say they got the name right.”

4. “As a very active older female, it has been quite difficult to find a trainer who can help me reach my performance goals. I trained with four trainers before I met Alyssa and I finally found a professional who can take me seriously and help me be my best. I ski hike, camp, bike, and do lots of water sports. I am also in my mid- 50’s and need to work with a professional who can help me reach my potential. Alyssa is that person. She makes every work out fun and challenging, continuously pushes me to reach my potential, ups the game, and has helped me improve performance, endurance, fitness, and overall health in every area of my life. I can’t imagine going through my week without touching base with her and running through our training work out. I also attend a couple of her express boot camps just to keep my head in the right space. The combination of personal training and group fitness has worked very well for me, mostly because Alyssa is the common factor.”

5. “I first started working with Carolina Pokraka in January of 2015 when I joined her Weight Loss Challenge Team. Prior to that I had taken numerous classes of Carolina’s and you can feel her energy (even from the back of the room!) With her support, I have lost close to 50 pounds and feel better than ever! Going to the gym is no longer a chore – it’s something I actually look forward to. Carolina is always willing to go the extra mile for her clients… She gives that push when it’s needed most! I cannot thank Carolina enough for guiding me through this journey. She is the BEST of the best!!”
