Coach and student

Marc Cedrone, 14, of Walpole, has been training at Elite since 2014 and has worked tremendously hard to improve his overall athletic performance.  This award is designed to recognize those who embody the true meaning of student-athlete and Marc is just that!  He is one of Elite’s very first members and has stayed consistent with his training over the last couple of years; training twice a week in our Athlete Semi-Private Training Program, in addition to participating weekly in the Elite / RBI Friday Night Workouts.  Marc has been playing baseball since the age of 4 and continues to pitch and play first base for the GBG Hawks.  He hopes to continue to play baseball at Xaverian Brothers High School in the years to come.

Marc’s proudest accomplishment on the mound is when he recently threw a no-hitter in the summer of 2016 for the GBG Hawks 14U blue team!  He was one of 18 athletes out of 250 selected to the 12U USA Baseball Team New England and competed with this team in the national tournament in Cary, North Carolina.  His dedication to training and the sport of baseball are admirable as he continues to prepare for high school baseball this spring.

Marc works hard and competes against athletes of all ages here at Elite.  He loves to experiment with new exercises and is always looking for new ways to improve his game.  We continue to enjoy the opportunity to work with Marc and watching him progress as a player and athlete.  With his competitive edge, strong work ethic, commitment to training, dedication to his sport, and positive attitude, we are excited to see what the future holds for him as he chases his dream to play baseball in college.
